Not sure I passed

I know I won't know until my appt. on Monday, but for some reason I don't think I passed. I have been feeling "off" ever since I drank it. I guess it could be b/c I wasn't allowed to drink water and haven't really had much to eat (a couple egg whites), but I'm not holding my breath.

They had both orange and red today, but only the red was cold so I went with that. The first few drinks honestly weren't too bad, but by the bottom, I was forcing it down. I can handle not having to drink that again! haha

It would suck, but I guess it's good to know, just in case though, right?! lol So I guess we'll just wait and see what we're told on Monday - fingers crossed!

And one more thing - we're in double digits now - only 97 days left - wow!

Tomorrow = Glucose

Tomorrow is the day I get to drink the sugary orange stuff. I've heard from some it's not so bad, others that it's terrible. Either way, I know I have to drink it fast so at least it'll be over with quickly.

I have the option of orange or fruit punch, but of which I do not like the flavor of. I'd rather eat the jelly beans or drink the grape juice I've heard some girls get to do! lol

Besides glucose, they'll also be drawing to retest my thyroid. Hopefully I'll still come back ok and just stay on my current dosage.

Outside of the pregnancy, this past weekend was the 4th of July! We went to visit the in-laws and had a pretty good time. Started registering, went to a BBQ on Honeoye Lake, got some color, ate some crap food. All-in-all, not a bad weekend!

IVF #1 - GO!

So - tonight we start the first of many injections. Tonight we start with the Lupron. Just to give a general background on how this all works:

- Initally, you go in for some bloodwork and for some exams - an HSG and an SHG. Basically, the SHG is a sonogram where thy look at the shape of my uterus, take measurements, etc... The HSG is where they thread a catheter through my cervix and into my uterus. Once in, they inject a dye into my uterus to watch it fill up and into my fallopian tubes to make sure everything looks clear and ready to go. My left tube was a little stubborn to fill up, but it did. I won't be needing them since we're going IVF, but it's nice to know they're there and are open!

I had REALLY bad cramps when they initially put the catheter in and when they were injecting the dye. Like really bad. But once they stopped, I didn't have any risidual side effects which was great! I know some girls have had cramping the rest of the entire day - I was lucky!

Just for fun, I took a picture of my belly before we started the whole process. From what I hear, this whole process can make you pretty bloated. I don't mind - it'll all be worth it - especially if the bloated IVF belly turns into a bloated pregnant belly!
